Having been to the Maison des Canuts (Silk Museum) we decided to stay in the neighbourhood for lunch. There is an a la Carte menu but we chose the daily specials. A 3 course lunch was €23pp. Starters were a millefuille of mediterranean vegetables in a delicious cheese/tomato sauce, and a pizaretta with fresh sardines. Mains were a delicious lasangne and grilled swordfish which was perfectly cooked. A very generous plate of 3 good Italian cheeses and a perfectly executed Tiramisu followed. A 46cl carafe of very decent house rose was €11. The service was friendly and professional. For quality and value Zibibbo is a 5 star restaurant.
In the red district of Lyon, a small urban inn at the top of Lyon, with friendly and welcoming staff, an attentive chef for his guests. A kitchen with a simple but well mastered menu, a taste of Italian, refined dishes and wines from the Italian terroir, all decorated with deserts recalling the deep Italian... A small address not to be missed, correct prices and rustic atmosphere... I ate and I'll be back.
A large restaurant, authentic cuisine, inspired and tasty, at a very correct price. The dishes change regularly and make discover the Italian cuisine. The chef, very friendly to the rest, is passionate and generous, and he feels in his plates. I ordered several times to take it, and I ate a few times, a real pleasure every time. Don't change anything, and thank you for your kitchen.
