We are into our veggie / vegan food at the moment, so we drove all the way from Wuppertal on a Sunday night to visit this place. We immediately loved the atmosphere: plants, buddhas, soft lights, books, a bit exotheric... Both the waiters, a young girl and a slightly older man are absolutely lovely, they just communicate calm and kindness. The menu (which I had already studied at home, I must confess) is composed of pizzas and small set of starters and main dishes from all over the world, strictly bio, vegetarian or vegan. We had some mixed starters, very delicate and delicious. Then my husband had some chinese egg fried rice with tofu, and I had a pizza. Everything was lovely, and quite unu...
I do not discover 5-star restaurants that often, but this one clearly is one! The menu could not be more original, the dishes are extremely tasty and bring out different and new flavors compared to what can be found in all other mainstream places. And being served by such a friendly and caring waitress can only make you enjoy this delicious food even more! Thank you to the whole Zodiac team for this fantastic experience
I went here with my boyfriend on our trip to Germany, and the atmosphere was great! There are books you can read about your zodiac sign and it is so much fun! On top of that, the food is delicious and made up of all organic ingredients. A must go if you are visiting Essen. The place is as nice as the owner himself!
Quality and friendliness first, fancy-schmancy last. You don't need meat for a great dinner and you know you'll get the best ingredients for a Pizza unlike any you have eaten before. This hidden gem could (or should) be in Berlin, Paris or New York, so if you're stuck in Essen for some reason, go there.

If you like to experience something different, you found the right place: Lots of green and wood, little gems everywhere, a peaceful atmosphere. And on top of that, the food will just fit this image as it's fresh, organic and very tasty. Always a delight!
Do not expect anything fancy. A rather small vegetarian restaurant, offering unique (or difficult to find) various ethnic dishes (Iranian, Romanian etc). Will visit again to taste the pizza......

This cozy place serves up delightfully delicious dishes ... the pizzas are fantastic. Even better is the lovely, welcoming staff. What a wonderful group of souls!

Food was great, service was friendly and considerate, english speaking, there's also an english menu. Cosy, tasty and not pricy.
Small but authentic place with interesting combinations of pizzas. Interesting decor with fast service!
