What can be said about Zom Hee that hasn't already been said in other reviews? If you've ever had Chinese cuisine in states other than Florida, you're likely aware of just how disappointing the Florida experience can be. Zom Hee is the polar opposite of that experience. Typically, Chinese food here, in Florida (as compared to the west coast, southwest and midwest is just plain lazy and about as cookie cutter boring as it can be. Seriously. We all know sweet and sour chicken (or pork or shrimp should come with a pineapple/orange juice based sauce and chunks of pineapple, red green peppers, carrots and occasionally tomatoes onions. Ha. This Chinese restaurant is excellent for a sit-down meal, possibly the best in Florida. If you're in the area, definitely give it a try. I ordered the wor shu duck, which was delicious. It's a rare find on menus, but it was just as good as I remembered from my time in New York. The restaurant is located in a strip plaza, with plenty of free parking available. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was great for a dinner outing. The prices were reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20 per person. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a fantastic dining experience.

The restaurant offers delicious food and excellent service. The 12.95 early bird special with wine included is unbeatable. I chose the wine and also enjoyed the complimentary hot tea. The E pork belt dish was delicious, and the egg rolls were the best I've had - very crispy and not greasy. My husband ordered the general chicken and judging by his empty plate, he clearly enjoyed it. The restaurant is a large family-owned business and I wish we had more time in town to visit again.

The restaurant has been around since the mid-80s and has a dated decor that fits well with its atmosphere. It also has a cocktail bar that was quite busy even at 2 am. The service was friendly and I enjoyed my takeout meal, which was delicious. The prices were reasonable, and they offer an early bird special. Ordered pork chop suey. THE MEAT WAS LIKE A ROCK. Told the man when we left. He said it was probably the end cut of the pork. Will not go back its Asian Pearl on Drew that's Chinese food. I really enjoyed coming in and sitting down and eating there. This was my first time, I always did take out. I don't know why I waited so long. Looking forward to next time.
