Located opposite the Altona Train Station Zorba's Fish & Chip Shop has been a firm family favourite for many years and my husband & I are pleased to recommend this eatery to our fellow travellers.[Staff & Service]:The service at Zorba's has always been wonderful. I stopped by for a snack after a road trip to the countryside. I ordered some delicious steamed dumplings, which were served nice and hot. I asked for soy sauce and was given plenty. In addition to dim sum, they also offer souvlaki, sushi packs, fish and chips. The owners are very friendly and always have a smile on their faces whenever I visit. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, kid-friendly, and has good parking out front.

This cozy fish and chip shop located conveniently around the corner has become a favorite of ours. We have visited twice already! The service and food are excellent, with all the staff being friendly and helpful. The only minor criticism I have is that the grilled fish is coated a bit too thickly with breadcrumbs, but other than that, everything is fantastic!

Located closely to the Altona Railway station, it is the perfect spot to grab some takeaway before the walk or drive home. (Tip: call them when you reach Newport station and your order should be ready by the time your reach Altona.)Fish and chips are cooked in good batter, and the grilled fish is tasty. I really enjoy the fish and chips at this restaurant. The food is wrapped in paper instead of a cardboard box, which adds to the experience. The staff is very friendly and the food was delicious. I will definitely be returning.

There are three fish and chip shops in Altona. Two near the beach and always overflowing with people and this one hiding near the station. Make the two minute walk and go to the locals Fish and Chip shop

Delish Fish and chips for two with a pickled onion is our regular favourite. Chips are always cooked to order. Piping hot and crispy. A Friday night favourite.
