First time we tried this restaurant. The small house is located in the residential area. Simple, unpretentious, but has a homey cozy feeling. Good for families. The owner is super friendly and accommodating, and the server is attentive and polite. We felt very at home and relaxed. We ordered the weekly specials: a lamb dish with gnocchi, and raviolis with lobster fillings and shrimp. I requested the ravioli sauce changed to a creamy Alfredo kind and the owner, who's also the chef, said no problem at all. Both dishes were delicious, the two pastas were prepared just right and tasted freshly made. We were also offered a complimentary plate of green salad while waiting for our food. So it was a...

Zouave has been one of my go-to Neighborhood Italian spots for awhile, and I can't believe I'm only leaving a review now! It's a very cute and cozy restaurant where you're always greeted with a smile and warm bread when you arrive. Plus, the chef, Abe, who owns the place, puts so much passion in every dish he makes. I've tried various dishes from here over the past few months and by far, the Salmon Penne, Antipasti, and Mushroom soup are my favorites! I also highly recommend the homemade sangria. They're open in the evenings from 5-10pm most nights, if you're coming on the weekend I suggest booking a reservation as it can get quite busy!

Wow! This was the best meal I’ve had in a long time. I had the mushroom risotto special with duck. The fresh bread and salad before entrees was delicious with high quality olive oil and vinaigrette. The service was excellent. The chef came out to say hello afterwards which was a special treat. He told us more about his eclectic background and his approach to cooking which was fascinating. We were visiting from Portland. I think we will make a special trip to this restaurant when we come back to Seattle. We walked here from our hotel in the University District and it was a lovely walk through a nice residential neighborhood.

Kept driving by this place and decided to try it out for our monthly date night. Honestly exceeded our expectations with a very relaxed atmosphere paired with delicious food that took me back to my time in Greece and Italy (Highly recommend the Moussaka . Prices are reasonable and the staff went above and beyond to make our date night special: The chef even came out to say hello to everyone. We don’t go out much so these nights are pretty special and I’m usually a pretty harsh critic, but we highly recommend and will be returning!Vegetarian options: Risotto Reserva una mesa ahora

The food at this restaurant is amazing! My go-to dishes are the chicken Marsala and the mushroom soup. I have also tried many of the specials and they have all been fantastic. The menu offers a variety of Mediterranean cuisine from Italian, French, Spanish, Greek, and North African. It's truly delicious! This restaurant is a hidden gem and Abe, the chef and host, has become a great friend over the years.

This adorable family-owned restaurant is a hidden gem with incredible service and unbelievably delicious authentic Italian dishes. The chef himself personally served my mother and me, was extremely friendly, treated us to a tasty sample of his freshly made tiramisu, and even held the door open for us as we departed. I recently moved just a few blocks away, and I can't wait to become a regular here!

This place has been one of my favorite places for a while. Today, we had a very big party with two twin 14 month old girls, and they accommodated us without a prior reservation. It's still amazing food. Thank you for fitting us in, and we loved the food.Maybe get a small fan, though, for the dine in portion of the restaurant as it was a bit warm inside.

This restaurant is a charming, cozy spot with a touch of rustic charm. The back patio is a lovely enclosed space, perfect for enjoying the warmth of the sun. They also grow their own herbs on site, which adds a special touch to their dishes. The owner and chef even come out to chat with the customers, making for a personal and welcoming experience. This is a delightful, unassuming little neighborhood restaurant. Went for my husband's birthday and enjoyed it thoroughly. Our waiter was great, and super friendly. We had a yummy eggplant starter, chicken marsala, and seafood paella. All tasty. Prices were very reasonable, given how expensive everyplace is these days. We will for sure return.
