Zulu Time Rooftop Lounge

We had “high” hopes for this rooftop lounge at this fancy West Point hotel but were sorely disappointed. We went there to celebrate our anniversary and friends birthday, made reservations, knowing full well that this menu was light fare. When we got there, we were seated at a table with a dirty black tablecloth with a rip in it. We started with drinks which were decent. We went on to order appetizers which came out looking unappetizing in sad looking plates! The tots for $14 were like something bought from Costco covered with pulled pork and cheap cheese, the boneless chicken wings for $11 looked like chicken nuggets for kids on wilted lettuce with sauce in plastic cups, the onion rings look...

They are off to a great start! They implemented a new ordering system through your phone with food to be delivered directly your table, and I believe this is a huge improvement! Still need to work the kinks with making drink timing work in this system, but overall it was a vast improvement from the past service experience. The new cocktails in food on the menu are awesome! Spicy margarita was great and Tina poke was delicious. The new servers were great! I’m excited for the rest of summer at Zulu!

Place is nice with a beautiful view of the mountains. The drinks were ok but overpriced for the quality. The service was slow. The DJ was decent but the music was low, volume wise, because this is not a rooftop bar, is more like a deck bar since there is rooms behind and above it.

Rooftop Bsr and Grill atop the Hotel Thayer. The Hotel Thayer is significant as the only hotel on the grounds of West Point, the United States Military Academy. If the weather is nice, it is a great spot. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: $20–30 Reserva una mesa ahora

My friends and I went there for the 1st time earlier tonight and had a very good time. The views were gorgeous !!! The DJ was nice, our waiter was pleasant and the food and drinks were good. Definitely wanna go back.

Mediocre service and food quality; odd concept to have a sports bar in such a historic and elegant building. Really beautiful and scenic views of the river made it all worth it! Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

The food is consistently fresh and delicious, cashiers gives fantastic service. I loved how neat it is and atmosphere. Would recommend to others.

Beautiful bar overlooking the Hudson river! Great drinks and food. Nice relaxed atmosphere.
