The oldest restaurant in Solothurn has a cosy inside and is perhaps a bit smaller than expected and slightly newer than the nominal age (dating back to 1038) might suggest. The service was excellent, and the food consisted of truly new and interesting interpretations of classic dishes (or so one thinks) and beyond, delicious and inspiring at the same time. My octopus salad was interspersed with surprise tastes, such as a small roll of cucumber hidden in between; there were capers, BIG olives, celery, tomatoes, pomegranate, young salad leaves, onions, and a very original grid of deep fried herbs which also appeared on my fish main course,

very friendly and brilliant service from the beginning. they delivered us menus in English and German that were estimated. the food service was so well adapted to any cure, and the waiting staff was very attentive that our glasses were charged and the plates were loaded at the right time and without interrupting our talks at the table. eating was amazing, every dish was carefully presented and tasted amazing. the whole meal was an amazing experience. I could better evaluate the service, wee, eat and atmosphere! 10/10!

the women in the service are very friendly, furnished and attentive. Eating was as always excellent and beautifully presented. here they feel comfortable and welcome. so that we always like to come!

for each time a good location excellent food combined with family ambiente. thanks to stefan tamara and the service kitchen crew. I propose to make a lunch and reservation for diner.
