If you want to take a three-way menu, you can risk it without problems, and then you will certainly be tired. Tasteful and craftsmanship, the food is fresh and tidy, but nothing special. The previous services are very friendly and nice. For hikers, this area is a single dream to combine with a good meal, unique. The journey through the Thuringian Forest is a dream anyway. However, we repeatedly point out that Germany is a very beautiful country. For example, we like to drive from Cologne to Bamberg to the left Rhine via land roads, fantastic. A chic restaurant by the boss cooks himself. We were eating twice there and it was very delicious. The steak was fried and juicy on the spot. The boss was very nice and also special requests were not a problem. He also came by several times and asked if everything was okay. When the weather plays, you also have a very good view over the forest. There are free parking and Wi-Fi, but you have to ask the key. If I'm back in Masserberg, I'll go back to dinner.
