This restaurant is just amazing. We love to come an visit and spend quality time here. Waitresses are very lovely and friendly. The food home style cooking excellent flavors and e variety of items in the menu. We come here very often to seat down for lunch or dinner or just a nice cold beer or just pass by to order carry out and eat at home. They have very good daily menu specials great prices and big portions. Anyway this place it is a neighborhood gem located in a very romantic and relaxing plaza with a small water fountain in the middle. The owner we don't know him personally but we see him walking around or just seating on one of the tables outside on the patio and he seems to be a nice...
We had gone to many German restaurants but this place had probably best service. We had so many schnitzels at various places, but ones from here are so tender and juicy! My son said it was best he had. Be aware tho, it's huge!My favorite was tomato soup. Only thing is. I didn't get to try potato salad.I wish it came with side salad for I LOVE German potato salad.Highly recommend.
Staying in a hotel nearby we Walker to the cost Market place and went to this restaurant, where the staff prepared 2 tables for us. We could order easily and were served delicious Camembert/ or Schnitzel-dishes. A lot of goodness was served short after ordering. I arrived late, but was still able to order, at 22:00. Thank you. almost 20 minutes waiting time until you can order drinks. several service forces have deliberately ignored us. Waiting time for eating was another 60 minutes. the salate was probably very long and was completely diverted from the dressing. the carving of the tagescard was for the called price in order.
the salate with pute was earlier better. the leaf salad was already filthy, from the salat sauce. the pute was also not soft, but rather hard. pity, was really good in the past. Maybe the cook had a bad day. the service was very friendly.
this restaurant we visit because of steak and in summer we enjoy on Wetttbachplatz our beer .the restaurant is cozy not too big but on the terrace there is enough space, worse it is in bad weather
