after the many good reviews here we wanted to try the yellow brain and are on a Saturday evening at 18 o'clock with two small children. by now I assume that each restaurant has a high chair - the yellow brain unfortunately does not. Unfortunately, the preparation of the food (we had the classic: carving with pommes, for the children: late zle with sauce) lasted over 1 hour, which is of course difficult especially with small children.. And then the pommes were very salty - in short: our high expectations were not met.we will certainly give the local a second chance, but the first experience was sobering.
Austrian cuisine is tasty and so the yellow brain is a good starting point when you have concluded a contract with shredded carvings and imperial carvings. the card is small but sufficient selection available. also the cheese-speakers were a tight one. the benediktinerbräu scours. the service is attentive and friendly. we always call, because there are few places in winter in the local when the beer garden has to be and nothing is worse than looking forward to eating and then getting no place.
the food was very good, whether kasnockeln, wienerschnitzel, bratkartoffeln and the dessert, there were 6 different dishes and all have tasted excellent. a secret tip are the snaps. the Austrians can easily!!!The price-performance ratio is right. so, with the ease of use, the nice art and the good fresh food, continue.
a few days ago we visited the "yellow brain" with friends. there is a small, manageable map with dressed from Austria and Tyrol. the drinks well cooled and the service very friendly. we sat in the outside area and the only manko was that it was sometimes a bit loud due to the direct proximity to the road.

the roggenkrüstli is unique in hessen. were there more often, very nice atmosphere, you notice the owners to prepare it with lots of dedication.Cartoffel buffer with salmon and slender were excellent.
I've been here for years. very nice host with beautiful ambiente! the food was a pleasure, often eaten worse in Austria! I would recommend the yellow brain without any reservation!
