this hidden gem is a beautiful restaurant in the old town (sachsenhausen). they could go past a busy evening, so pay attention to the amazing flower killers! the covered and heated biergarden welcomes native and tourist for a drink and. a local cuisine. Do not miss aeppelwoi with a kind of zider and grie soos' a traditional herb maonnaise from various crumbles to go with them bratkartoffeln or schnitzel. service is attentive, friendly and entertaining. vegetarier will find some possibilities to enjoy the delicious local home cooking. come here with a group of friends or family. we had dinner with a group of four and everyone enjoyed their court. very tasty and delicious.
This restaurant is my top choice when I bring colleagues from the US to Frankfurt and they want an authentic German experience. This time, we ate at a sidewalk table so we could watch the people and traffic pass by. We ate the Frankfurter schnitzel...with green sauce. The portion was huge, and the sauce was great. We drank Afpelwein from a large pitcher (Bembel) to complete the German experience. Our waiter, Andreas, took good care of us. I always try to sit in his section of the restaurant. He is extremely efficient, and will smile when we use our few words of German to order.
Locale tipico in cui sia la mitica e originale salsa verde di Francoforte e l' Apfelwein sono di grandissima qualità. Servizio impeccabile e camerieri molto bravi. Ambiente estremamente accogliente e curatissimo nei dettagli. C'è anche un giardino interno veramente bello dal quale si possono ammirare le colorate vetrate dipinte. Inoltre è gremito di persone del luogo che di Grüne soße e Apfelwein sono intenditori!!!Consigliato a tutti.
