Zum Goldenen Einhorn

First of all we live near by Düsseldorf and when we visit it we mostly make our lunch in this pub, cause it have a extraordinary homelike atmosphere, which is given by the mix of selected accessories, friendly service and the normal feeling for a...pub. In addition to that it have a nice location in the center of the old town directly on the Ratinger Straße, which is specially famous for his good pubs. Finally I would recommend the tasty and giant cakes, which are baked by a bakery only for this pub and we always rejoice for the next time we visit it.

First of all, this place has become our favourite cafe, making it a must-be for every trip to Düsseldorf. The atmosphere is homely and warm, while the service is familiar. The cakes are special made thus turning out to be über big. Although the menu...serves dishes and meals for all kinds of occasion, zum Einhorn, as we like to call it, really comes to shine as a perfect round-up for your visit in Düsseldorf. Ain't nothing better than browsing the NRW-Forum, followed by a short walk zum Einhorn.

Not much to say really other than this is the kind of gastropub cozy enough to stay and chat after having drunk the usual few on a night out. One of my favorite places in old town, serving decent food for reasonable prices. Service could...be nicer least yesterday when were here for carnival, but still a good choice and absolute recommendation for next year!

A really average kind of place. You can sit outside and enjoy your drink or have food. There is nothing to excite you except they do not accept cards. This was not obvious at time of ordering.

Went there for an early dinner. We ate quite a good steak with excellent fried sweet potato and salad. They alo have a great alt beer from tap. The prices are decent as well.

I enjoyed my schnitzel and the serving size was typical large German. This is a good place to visit if you want to avoid the more touristy places in Düsseldorf.
