Zum Gottsmannsgruener

Despite our long-long wait (about hour until the Food was ready delivered), it was totally worth it! Probably too German for the Festina lente Italian way to savor Food (first Antipasti, then maybe Soup, some drinks and only THEN the main Course), or...maybe just a mishap for the evening when we first visited this Restaurant...In any case, Pasta was delicious and, as if this was not good enough, Tiramisu was...wonderful. Worth to pay (at least) a visit regardless the Weather (but much nicer when the Terrace is open).

Gotts is an outstanding Italian restaurant with an ambiance that I have yet to find in Germany. The staff was wonderful and made sure we were well taken care of. It is a good place to take a date as well as a place to...meet friends. The food was wonderful, especially the pasta. This is our favorite Italian food in the area and we will make a point to go back whenever we are close.

The restaurant Zum Gottsmannsgrüner is a must for all visitors in Bayreuth it's an Italian restaurant with a great variety of different specialities and dishes and the family owned restaurant has a unique flair. And the garden during the summer time is pretty cosy....Enjoy your stay there :

than years ago I started to become a regular at Alfredo Aquenza's Gottsmanngruener (today just Gott's because Gottsmannsgruener was too long.. The pasta dishes in the little restaurant were legendary. Still owned by the same family not much has changed...

Eine schöne Überraschung. Nettes, freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, gute und nicht zu weiche Betten, reichliches Frühstück... was will man mehr? Sehr zu empfehlen!
