Tuesday seems restaurant owner Sunday in the Harz region. Most restaurants were closed. So we landed in to the tile stove, which is actually in Hahnenklee. From the outside the restaurant looks pretty, as well as from the inside, cozy wood everywhere. The waitress was attentive and we enjoyed her service. The price for half a liter of beer was stiff with 3.95€. After the waitress told that the carving was frozen, we went to something else and ordered a steak – that was huge and not too bad – and a shepherd pan, Shepard's pan. Spiste Hähnchenbrustfilet Hawaii og min kjære spiste Rotbarsch. Maten var helt greit, passe mengde og rimelig kjapt servert. Betjeningen var våken, oppmerksom og vennlig. Prisene er midt på treet. Restauranten er forholdsvis lite med noen få bord på fortauet foran huset. Litt traffik der - men ikke sjenerende

we have eaten with people in the restaurant to the flowing oven. eating was excellent, all were very satisfied. the price-performance ratio is correct. the service was very friendly and nice. we're coming back. a visit is recommended.

The scavenger is overhauled to a muddy consistency and the overall quality is uneven. On the same visit (for the escape) one of our two carvings was almost all fat. Not recommended.
