We were happy with our visit! The service was great, the lady very nice! Why here in some reviews is pointed out to her figure, I cannot understand. I don't think that has to do with how someone is acting or presenting. We had hardly ordered the waffles. Compared to the waffle house next door (here we were a few hours before, the waffles were smaller, but not less occupied and much better and crispy from taste! If you order a hot chocolate, you will get a box which gives three cups. This was very delicious. The view is fantastic, the cakes that were offered looked very tasty. Cute little café in Oberburg, right on the cable car. View is really nice in good weather. Waffles were top, all very tasty. The only thing we have to complain was the operation that was really very slow. We've been waiting for our food and drink for a long time, and then half of it was missing. But what you have to say is the operation was outside alone and it was very full. Perhaps this is not always the case. We'd come back anyway.
The time before Corona and the old owner were glorious times. Super delicious cakes and waffles and the Bergische Kaffeetafel were a poem. In addition, the most beautiful view of Schloss Burg and always everything clean and well maintained. Then young new owners came, then Corona came and the end came. Too bad. One of our favorite cafes, in which I have already arrived with my grandparents, especially the cream milk to the waffles with cherries, was always delicious. A good cup of tea and the view over the valley of the Wupper... It remains to be hoped that the knight's fall will soon be reopened after owner change and Corona and will continue to offer the usual quality.
