I work for a major US airline and find myself eating out quite often. It is finding little gems like Zum Schwan that make all those meals away from home worth it.The restaurant is run by chef/owner Jean-Carlo and his wife Jeanette. You will not find a more lovely couple in your travels. They both speak multiple languages, but their first one is customer service. Even if the food was not good, you would probably go just because they make you feel so special when you dine there. Their food is amazing. The menu is well thought out and reasonably priced. They are the important things in life, like eating and drinking, which must be good so that man is satisfied. Here are new chefs at the beginning who know exactly what this craft is. We got a picture last night. It was wonderful to host him. Pork roast with green sauce fill a dream, with potato stump that deserves its name delicious. Dessert variations very crativ and you have to finish. All fresh and handmade. Finally, there is another place in Höchst that we look forward to. High and good luck for the swan.
I had the house specialty (roast pork with German green sauce) and my wife had Vienna schnitzel. Both meals came out in a reasonable time and they were very tasty. The atmosphere is authentic German and the location beside other restaurants in a little square off the main road is amazing. Try it out!
We had two great meals at Zum Schwan whilst in Frankfurt for a trade exhibit - Jean-Carlo and Jeanette made us feel extremely welcome and were fantastic hosts, the food was absolutely superb - so much so that we went back twice! We look forward to seeing them again next year. James

Food was really tasty, drink variety could have been larger (like vodka shot before meal :D), but we got some other stuff (some local booze), which was more interesting actually. Waitress was gorgeous looking and very kind too, loved it.
Italian cuisine with some local specialities. Good prices, too. The restaurant is on an old square with historic buildings surroundong it. Dined there for three nights, wish could do it more often.
