Zur Linde - Reserva de mesa

Zur Linde is in the Templehof district of Berlin which is in a much less touristy area since it is a 30 minute train ride south of the center of Berlin. We opted to stay in that area to avoid the heavy traffic and limited parking in central Berlin. The Zur Linde was within walking distance of our B B and was recommended by the owner. It is a Croatian restaurant with large portions, fresh food and wonderful service. We actually ate there both nights that we were in Berlin because we enjoyed the first night so well, not just because it was the only restaurant within walking distance. The dining room is fairly large with plenty of tables for 6. Very clean. Service is fast and polite, they speak several languages (we had our choice of speaking English, German, and Italian). The food. What can I say? Not much after ordering the Grillteller, because I'm stuffed to the gills with amazingly delicious meats and tasty sides of salad and rice and fries. Meat was tender and seasoned perfectly. It was a party in our mouths. Prices are a little on the expensive side but I wouldn't call them high, you literally get what you pay for.

We were here getting out of Berlin centre for a bit of a change and jumped the train down to TEMPLEHOF area.We chanced on this pub/restaurant and found that the beers were a lot cheaper than in MITTE area.Pub was fantastic and the staff could not have been more helpful.We got a couple of iced cold beers each which we both agreed were superb as was the price.If you have time its always worth the effort to get out of the tourist area's of Berlin,the rewards can be outstanding.

We visited at the height of asparagus season and all four of us ordered various dishes featuring asparagus. The white asparagus was excellent and the schnitzel was very good in combination with it. The only disappointment of our four dishes was that the duck breast was a bit overdone. The sauces were tasty and the service was good. It is just slightly off the beaten path and easy to find. Das sich hinter dem Namen kroatisch/serbische Küche verbirgt ist schon erstaunlich. Der Geruch der einem beim Betreten des Lokals entgegen kommt hätte uns warnen sollen.Die Bedienung war nett und die Karte bot vieles an. Die Qualität aber ist unterirdisch. Meiner Meinung war das schon vorgekocht und nur aufgewärmt.Bevor ich hier nochmal einkehren gehe ich lieber Fastfood essen.

Wir sind Gäste bereits seit ca 9Jahren und kommen immer noch wieder.Sehr freundliche Bedienungen, Die Portionen sind reichhaltig, Ambiente ist Top. u.das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung.Das Restaurant befindet sich im sehr ordentlichen gepflegten Zustand.Wir können es nur wärmstens empfehlen.
