the house to the linden is a wonderful traditional house in the heart of wittlar. The locals come here from the part of town to eat, drink and entertain themselves alone or with friends. it is also worth a trip from a bit further. this kind of gastronomy has become a rarity. but it is needed and has its place. here there are gulasch and sülze with bratkartoffeln, a nice ass carving, but also fusch, even a great bouillabaisse. the beer is always freshly tapped, a good wein is of course also to have. all in a rustic, genuine and not artificially produced building house atmosphere and with a loving, accommodating service. the prices are absolutely appropriate.I hope the linde will be there for...

for years we visit the host house to the linde and are each time delighted by the warmth, competence and cozyness of this restaurant. it almost feels like coming home. the couple bush leads the local for more than 20 years and some classics find themselves on the menu and changing daily dishes. the quality of the preparation, the fresh and the beautiful decoration have become more and better for the years. a local every occasion.
