Zurito - Reservar una mesa

Warm and classy ambience; outstanding host and attentive service; great house wine. What a shame then to discover that the food really wasn´t nearly up to five star standard. So disappointing! I had the most disappointing rice with lobster I´ve ever eaten the sauce was overpowered with the flavour of tomato and lemon and, for the 20€ price, there was far too little fish in the dish and far too much rice. I have eaten similar dishes far better in other Spanish and Italian restaurants. My husband´s meat was very good but not outstanding. My parents both opted for the recommended fish dish of the day which was similarly nice but nothing exceptional in taste nor presentation. The goats cheese in the starters was delicious but I felt the dish needed to have been balanced with something lighter as there almost nothing to balance the strength of the cheese. The octopus starter was tasty but appeared to be swimming in melted cheese, looked a little too big and filling for a first course and the serving of octopus itself again not generous enough for the cost. If the food improved majorly this could be an outstanding restaurant. But as it is at the moment, with regret, I am only rating it two out of five as I would not choose to eat here again. At these prices I expect the food to be generally excellent and unfortunately it only ranged between average to very good. ,

After arriving from the States and being travel worn, we were ready for a quiet evening out and some good food. Although we were too early for dinner service, we asked for dos cervesas and for the waitress too being us whatever she liked. She brought a delightful cheese plate, toast and tomatoes, cold fish with tomatoes and olives. Everything was visually attractive and well prepared.

We had dinner four couples in a reserved room. The diner was really good, all the food looked fresh, surprising and really good served. The dinner cost 35€ per person with wine with 35% discount of thefork.com included. The price looked high for me but the quality of the food and the calm atmosphere worth it a lot. I`ll return several times next months.

We keep going back to Zurito we are fortunate in that it is in our neighborhood. The food and service continue to be excellent. Our favorite waiter, Roger, is just the best! We have been to Zurito at least a couple of dozen times and it never disappoints. Highly recommendable!

Excelente food, a good service, and reasonable relationship quality prive. The menú offert si quite suggestive, and wide for both fish and meat.
