This is one of the best sushi places I've been to so far. Beautiful tasting sushi and at a decent price too. I always order the karagge chicken meal and some salmon and cream cheese sushi rolls. The staff are alway super friendly too. However, there is a section that says 2 rolls for $5. These are tiny little 4 piece rolls which I have pointed to very clearly while ordering and both times they have brought out these massive awesome looking cut up rolls. Not remembering or noticing they have given me a much larger roll, I'm shocked when I go to pay because the bill is probably $10-15 more than it should be. If you're a local and considering takeout, definitely give this place a try. Whether it's their meals or sushi, I believe they truly excel in flavor, which is why they have such a dedicated customer base. The staff is friendly, and the service is excellent. I've been here over 20 times and have never had to wait an unreasonable amount of time.
My top pick is their teriyaki chicken dish, and for sushi, I love the calamari roll. My friend always orders the Japanese curry, which he thinks is amazing.
When it comes to takeout, this is one of my top choices.
The location doesn't do this place justice. If you didn't already know the food was excellent, you may not even give it a second glance. What a pleasant surprise, very high quality sushi, and clearly skilled employees. The price and portion size match really well. Nom nom nom! Only suggestion would be to put the radio on or something, everyone is working and eating in dead silence (whispering felt like shouting). Overall very nice and will recommend!
This is my favourite sushi place in the whole of Brisbane! The smoked salmon and cucumber and the tuna avocado, they are my favourite. My partner absolutely raves about the chicken omelet rice. The meal sizes are generous and pricing is reasonable. We recently moved out of the area and still drive back to get out sushi from Zushi California! :

My favourite local restaurant. You can find me here 2 3 times a week for lunch or dinner. The service is excellent very friendly and enthusiastic and the food is absolutely delicious! I haven't tried a bad dish yet! My recommendations would be the eel avocado roll, tuna and avo and any of the rice and chicken main dishes.
I like their food. The staff are very very very polite and friendly. This shop always has every kind of sushi that you want, if you do not see in the fridge, just ask them to make it for you quickly. I buy every week from this shop. It has a very good car park, so you can reach them so easy.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The omurice I ordered was fresh and flavorful, although it wasn't quite traditional in taste. The service was excellent as well. I would definitely return to explore more of the menu.
I absolutely love this restaurant! It's my go-to spot most of the time. I've tried the chicken curry and chicken teriyaki, and I always order the tuna sushi. Everything is incredibly delicious and definitely a must-try!

Great food and service. Highly recommended for a takeaway. It always seems to be busy which is a good sign. Will definitely return. Salmon sashimi is great value. Chicken teriyaki is lovely.
Best chicken/avo sushi spicy chicken teriyaki in Brisbane. Wouldn't hesitate recommending this joint to anyone. Easily go here once a week at minimum.
