Friendly welcome and free sangria's as we were sent by the hotel in the neighbourhood, dog friendly as well! Starters : Basque bruschetta was soggy and jamon serrano was rather dry. Axoa (basque specialty) was tasteless and the gambas à la plancha were not cooked properly (an open kitchen gives you insights on how things are prepared).

Went today for lunch, nice food, very good trout, service very nice. Price a trifle too high for the are area considering it borders with spain. Nevertheless a good place to eat. I will return living in the area. Hendrix Biarritz.
