I really got excited when I found this charming little fairytale like gastropub. Unfortunately, it was the second to last day of my 1 week stay in Soest. I made up for the lost time by having breakfast, lunch and dinner here the day before my departure back to Düsseldorf. The locale is a bit off the tourist route though if you have the Google app it should be easy to find. There are 4 floors of eating spaces with chairs, tables, couches with each floor having a slightly different look and style. Food was really good and consistent. The local beer Soester was really good as well the interior 's intimacy, staff and quaintness is what really sold it for me. As a tourist, definitely a must to ch...
We were there on recommendation and were not disappointed. The operation is very nice and simple. The freshly roasted beer super delicious. And then the carnival! Come a large plate of fresh mushrooms. Among them a huge qualitative very good carving. I don't want to worry about the delicious roast potatoes. An absolute recommendation for food and ambience.
Great ambient and good. The service can be spotty. The place is rather small and tight but very cozy and have characters. Can't compare German restaurants in Philadelphia area. This is a real deal!!! The place gets pack fast so highly recommend making a reservation ahead from their website or simply call them. They offer menu in English.
We loved the food and the staff. The quality was excellent and the portions huge. The staff were attentive and friendly. They were very relaxed about us bringing our large dog inside and brought him a bowl of water. This was a wonderful place to bring a family.
