we have not sung in this restaurant. they told us they don't take reservations from opentable. it is nothing but a restaurant in a hotel, completely open to lobby. would not recommend.

they cut their server before our reservation. I couldn't experience her eating.

for a magnificent view of the river animas they must eat in this restaurant. although the waiting staff seemed to be confused whether the dining room was open or not, once it was all straight, the view from the small dining room terrace was delightful. I'd go back there.

the edgewater grill was closed on external bookings when we arrived there. there was a tour group with the restaurant. they sent us down to the beer garden in the doubletree hotel. the menu was limited and eating disappointing. when we brought our reflections on the recipe in the doubletree hilton in durango, they were not helpful. the restaurant that was on her premises was not part of the doubletree. would never book this restaurant or hotel again.

We had a reservation for Edgewater Grille but when we entered the Doubletree Hotel, they told us it was below by the River. This was really the Animas Beer Garden. Food was good but it was not exactly the dining experience we were looking for.
