El Jockey Grill House Reservar una mesa

I visited again after several years, still very good. Decor is a little dated, but, who cares it's not like you are going to eat the chairs! So. We went to celebrate GF's son's birthday. There were for of us and we tried a little...of everything. Revuelto de...? French fries with a little scrambled egg, spices... Sounds strange but it's really good! Panela horneada... Broiled cheese also quite nice. French onion soup was extraordinary, as we're the shrimp tacos. I was told the shrimp Rockefeller were nice although a bit over cooked. Pacholas (think Mexican Salisbury steak) also meet with approval. And the side salads are very nice. Drinks are for one. Good coffee. Excellent choice!

Food and service are good. I tried the giant lettuce with blue cheese and the octopus. Steaks are also a good choice. The terrace is comfortable.

So excited to go but such a horrible waiter and service! It's my birthday and I love the food but everyone was so lazy!! No one took the menu, wine glasses, dirty plates etc. Not a cheap place and to have this horrid attitude was...disgusting!

This may not be the famous Jockey Club, but the food and service are equal to the best restaurants anywhere. Begin with a great atmosphere, there were six of us for lunch, here lunch begins about PM. We selected a table by the open...windows to allow for plenty of fresh air and a bit of privacy, I suggest reservations as this is a popular restaurant. The menu is extensive, but not overwhelming. Anything you order will be well done, we ordered plates to share, bones split open with marrow, salads, appetizers, steaks and chicken . . . no one ordered fish. We had the dishes placed in the center of our large round table and shared everything, family style. Our waiter did not mind in the least. The Jockey Grill is a place that Tapatios (People from Guadalajara), go for business and for special ocassions, a place where no one is ever dissappointed.

The food is great. I ordered El Vacio with French Fries and my boyfriend ordered the Rib Eye with French Fries. BIG PIECES of meat and cooked as asked. the bread is delicious and so are the sauces they give you. I always order creme...brûlée wherever its available. it is my favorite dessert ! creme brûlée was good. good size, definitely one to share ! (after all the meat we ate we were very full jaja). one very big turn off from the restaurant was the fact that we had reservations on the non smoking area , which was indoors. when the city is hot, and you are in a pretty fancy restaurant, INDOORS, and you clearly see about air conditioners in the ceiling.....why in the world would they be turned off????????????????? I was sweating !!!!!!!! not a good way to enjoy a delicious meal. no no no ! you guys can do better than that. other than that, everything else was good. the servers were nice and everything came fast. We ordered sangria which was also delicious, jaja. if i go back, i will be eating in their terrace, not inside.

Food is very good, specially the grilled octopus delicious.But also the meats and pork knuckles are superb.The service excellent service (Guillermo thanks to you)

The steaks at this place are huge but could use more seasoning. The decor is very nice, and the service was excellent. The staff was very attentive.

My parents had been to this restaurant and loved the octopus, so when I visited Guadalajara last week I had to go to this restaurant and try it. I was not disappointed, it was delicious. All the entrees we ordered were very good and the...service was very friendly and professional. There is room to improve their desserts (not very impressed), but overall it was a very good meal. Will definitely go back!
