A wonderful surprise in Old Town HaroThe menu of the day was terrificI was with a party of four and we all enjoyed our dishes.
good food, good price, good service. one of the reasons we're coming to haro is to eat here. they need to understand Spanish, although there is no English menu and very little English spoken.
we are today Friday the price ratio is excellent. the menu of the day is € and the quality of eating to see it is really worth it. the only part is that there are many steps to climb and accessible is not quite good. also so, highly recommended.
the waiters were very unpleasant, only on the stairs they told us that we could not get into the dining room that we would wait outside, in very rude wise. we left, I didn't leave again, and I was absolutely discouraged by everyone. Sometimes it seems that they visit them because they do a favor, no profession, no illusion for work, and it is a place with enormous potential. reediting review: apparently it closed!
it would be the last place where I would eat again. the dependencies of mourning, the toilets seem to be latrinning. the treatment of the employees is very unpredictable (healing to the conclusion). eating bad quality with bag salads and frozen kartoffels; there was no one who ate it. generally deadly!
They serve the food too cold. But it has good value for money. Better book table. It's always full.
we had a good meal and our waitress was very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, when she went for the bill, she was caught by someone we suspect was the manager. he didn't know we spoke Spanish and the waitress said we had no drinks. when I was with my wife, I didn't want to cause any problems, so I let it go, but it was worth letting others traveling know what will happen if they are obviously out of town. this problem is very rare in Spain, so worth mentioning. avoid them!
the restaurant is well positioned in the main square and serves as bar, with the main square for dinner high in the second floor. the dining room is quite simple, with a large menu. we chose a menu of the day, and that was more excellent, with large amounts of food that arrive at regular intervals throughout the evening. wee were in order as the evening meal. this was not a challenging culinary experience, the dinner was enlivened by a large number of small children in lounge chairs, but it was pleasant and we were served by willing waiters.
