for lunch. we sat a party of five in the back of the abbey. it took until the drinks arrived. the food came fast, but when we asked about the bill, it took a long time to come. then they have. over half an hour after our change.

this is the visit this month with various friends family, eating is great worth, well presented, hot delicious we had gammon, huh sirloin steak ribs.all of which was great. service was also amazing to always check on us. after we left the restaurant part. we went in the bar to continue our great evening. will use definitiw abbey on a regular basis.

hi tried the abtei out, service was good, but food at all not nice, got a chicken burger that was cheap, but by the time I added speck, cheese, bbq sauce, chips then the same price as anywhere else, but cheap chicken burger meat (not breast).

Medium meat was well done, sallad was half tomatoes with sallad. Tiramisu was frozen and like ice cream. My worst this year. Same for the other at my table

If you want a fantastically friendly run bar that serves great food and has great entertainment this is the perfect place to come. The live music is always fantastic too. Get in the beer garden for an afternoon you won’t be disappointed!

This place never fails to deliver, Exceptional staff, Friendly and professional, Nothing is too much trouble. Excellent fare, superb atmosphere and a great pint .

My wife and I visited the Abbey Tavern for a meal last night. On are arrival we noticed that couples were picking up their meals and changing tables, it was like watching a game of chess. Little did we realise that when our meals arrived...that we had the same problem, wasps everywhere! I said to the older Gentleman waiter that you have a bad problem with wasps, he replied no problem and couldn't care less. People were all saying the same thing that they couldn't relax and enjoy their meals because of the issue. We won't be returning for a meal anytime soon and would suggest that the management in this place make the effort to get rid of this issue.
