We had a good evening at this restaurant. The pork main course was delicious, with a chop and tenderloin pieces that were very tasty. However, the sticky date dessert was a bit disappointing as it was served as a slice that was barely warm with lukewarm sauce. The ice cream was good though. The service was a bit erratic, as we were asked for our drinks order as soon as we sat down without even having a wine list. We only received 3 menus for a party of 4, and the seating was unstable with wonky chairs. Despite these issues, we would give it another try as the main courses were very good. The restaurant has a lovely outlook over the Llangattock escarpment with nice grounds and a terrace area...

We stopped by this restaurant on our way back from mid Wales for an early evening meal. We are familiar with this hotel as we have visited it many times over the years. The restaurant offers a beautiful view of Pen Y Fan. We both ordered Cod and chips and found it to be delicious. The dish was perfectly cooked and came with tasty tartare sauce. The service was excellent from everyone we encountered. Even with the 'Dine Out' discount, we would have been happy to pay full price for our meal. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our roast beef, leg of lamb, and salmon mains, as well as the delicious vegetable sides (especially the cauliflower and cheese - nice and light!). The minestrone and ham hock starters were also fantastic. The only disappointment was the tikka paneer starter, which was a bit bland and small. However, the setting was lovely, especially for enjoying a pre-dinner drink on the terrace in the sun. We would definitely return!

Delicious meal in a gorgeous setting. A beautiful surrounding and gorgeous Christmas decorations that were lovely and welcoming. The bar area is the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine too. The meal we had was delicious and our dietary requirements were catered for very well. They also have vegan options such as a vegan carrot cake and brownie and even vegan ice cream. Family meal booked for 8pm served at 9pm. 3 small pieces of plain bread brought out as started with no butter, bland olive oil and some herb dusting. Shocking portions, extortionate prices, poor service, lots of waiting, but boring staff with no character (maybe they don’t want to be there either. DEFINITELY AVOID

Four of us went for dinner on a friday night. the staff were terrible, not knowing anything about the food, we asked for sparkling water , we were told they had none? asked for ice in the water, they had none of that either. The food was ok, no more and i would not go there again

How do they stay in business? Had supper there last night. The most ghastly meal I’ve ever had. It must have been leftovers. Helpful staff but this place is a travesty. The view is stunning but we spent the entire night looking for other places to eat through our binoculars.

Food was fine. However, Double Dragon beer not well kept, tasted bad. Local bottled beer was out of stock.If you said Thank you to the waitress, the reply was always No problem . Rather annoying, how could it possibly be a problem ? Reserva una mesa ahora

Used the restaurant while staying in the hotel. The Sunday lunch time menu was lovely and reasonably priced. Prawn cocktail x 2 starter , roast beef dinner x 2, and one pavlova came to around £39. Good value and plenty of food

We stayed at the Manor Hotel, of which the bistro is part. The food is of good quality and there is plenty of choice and variety.
