"We stayed at the Refuge de l'Econdu while walking the Tour du Beaufortain. Conveniently located small refuge near Lac des Fees. Lovely location views. The refuge is popular, our dormitory for 9 had 3 sets of bunk beds and 3 single beds and was full. Dinner was good, the wine was very good but expensive bottles only, no house wine, no carafes. This was the most expensive of the refuges we stayed in this summer it's cash only, no cards. Showers available."

"Prices were high, but reasonable in view of the situation and lack of other options. If the restaurant could not use bathroom and had to use the public bathroom that was not pleasant. Food and service was ok"
