"What a lovely place to sit and take in the atmosphere of Ojén as you watch the world walk by. We 've tried 'pan tostado con ajo ' toasted bread that comes with a 'do it yourself ' kit of olive oil, salt and a clove of garlic to rub into the toast. Delicious and typical of Andalucia. 'Pan tostado con tomate ' is toasted bread that comes with olive oil, salt and a little terracotta bowl of grated tomato to slather onto it. All delicious. The oil is top quality. You can order 'pan tostado con aceite ' if you don 't fancy tomatoes or garlic. We 've tried the tapas and 'bocadillos '/filled rolls too. Yummy manchego cheese and good ham. The owner seems to choose ingredients that he 'd be happy to eat. Its a lovely treat to find such reliable snacks. Coffee 's very good, but one of the most simple but memorable drinks is the fresh orange juice. It 's made from local oranges and has all the sweetness and scent of Andalusian sun to it. There 's beer and wine and all kinds of other drinks too. Plenty of parasols to keep the sun off your head if you sit out in the square, with the church in front of you and the fountain splashing away quietly nearby. Inside the cafe, little tables, wooden panels and local art. It 's a very Spanish cafe you 'll hear everyone say some variety of greeting, something like 'buenos dias ' as they come in and an 'hasta luego ' or some such as they leave. If you 're inside the cafe, look up and murmur a greeting if you hear somebody come in. It 'll make you feel part of the place. You 'll see mothers with small children, old men, tables of elderly ladies, families and all of humanity. It 's a friendly spot and you 'll feel welcome, whether you speak Spanish or not. Fresh Orange Juice is written on a little sign outside, so that 's a good start!"
