"I stopped by for a sweet treat after dining at La Reyna just down the street. This bakery isn’t your typical place for donuts and muffins; it’s more similar to the delightful pastries you’d find in a Mexican bakery. I did notice some donuts on their Facebook page, but they might sell out quickly. I picked up one of their large sweet butter pastries, though I can’t recall its name. I wish I had a hot cup of tea to enjoy with it, but unfortunately, I didn’t have any for the drive back to Cedar Rapids. The owner was incredibly friendly and shared how grateful he was to have opened this location in Vinton less than two weeks ago. He also mentioned that they serve breakfast and can prepare whatever you like since they open at 6 AM at the request of the locals."
