Hard Country Café - Reserva de mesa

We went to Insane Sausage to eat and they were closed. I was starving. We saw the sign for the cafe and decided to stop. I’m glad we did. I got the chicken fried steak, salad and red potato mashed potatoes. My husband got the steak finger basket. We got onion rings as an appetizer. Oh my goodness everything was delicious. The chicken fried steak is not one of those frozen patties. It is real steak. The mashed potatoes top notch. Onion rings are homemadeThis is going to sound ridiculous but I could have drank the ranch salad dressing. It was homemade and that goodI gave it 2 stars for atmosphere simply because it is nothing spectacular. It is inside a truck stop. It was very clean

Great stop, very happy to have tried this place out. We would definitely stop here again. The food was fantastic, I enjoyed eating at the restaurant. Open from 6am-9pm. The server was nice, and our order came out quickly. They were happy to accommodate my request for a cheeseburger no bun. Husbands porkchops were delicious, and our drinks stayed full. Only gripe I have is the claw machine stole my $5 and was out of order, they couldn't do anything about it, which I didn't expect they'd be able to do much, but just beware the machine if you're interested in playing it, that you may lose your money. They have a casino as well, not really for us, but others may enjoy it.

First time ordering from this Cafe. Hubby is a picky-eater, but he really liked the country fried steak dinner. He judged it on 1. not being a frozen patty and 2. the crust didn't fall off when he cut into it. I had the SW Taco Salad. Kudos! We'll order again. If you are in the Vinton area, take the LA-109 exit and head North.

My family and I had lunch here. Not only did the MANAGER spill a beer all over my baby, but my food was cold and we didn’t receive any type of discount or anything. Our first and last time. 60 dollars for bad food and service. An entire beer on my one year old. Reserva una mesa ahora

Almost went to wf and so glad we gave this place a try. The breakfast Quesadilla was Perfect, I don't believe it could have been any better. I will be stopping any time we come through.?

I ordered the Breakfast Tacos and they taste like the ones I do at home. Full of everything and very inexpensive….I will definitely come back when I’m in town!!!

Stopped in on our way to Houma from Texas. Hole in the wall place, great service. Food was nice and hot and very good. Highly recommend the country fried steak.

Wonderful truck stop with plenty of parking spaces. The food at the restaurant is good and everyone is friendly. There's also a mechanic on site.

The food was great. I had the fried chicken breast and my daughter had the fried shrimp basket. That gumbo needs some work tho. Waiter was great
