Amazing to find such an upscale place in a small town! Lovely decor, great staff, varied menu and wine list. Our charming server Charlene suggested the seafood linguini which did not disappoint! Large portion chock full of langoustine, shrimp and scallops in a delicious cream sauce. Shaved Parmesan on top blended beautifully to enhance the sauce. I could rave on? My husband had French onion soup the only disappointment of the evening. He said it wasn't what he'd hoped for odd flavour of broth not much cheese . But his shrimp avocado salad and daily dessert made up for his soup! Chocolate cheesecake beautifully presented with delicious fruit whipped cream. Kudos too to the bartender who shook...
The 112 Restaurant in Revelstoke offers a lovely atmosphere, albeit a bit dim, and we truly enjoyed our meal. We ordered the Bison burger, which was excellent, and the seafood pasta, which was also very good. We shared a bottle of wine to complement our dishes. The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. There was live music featuring soft acoustic guitar with a familiar selection of songs, creating a nice ambiance. It was a perfect way to unwind after a long drive.
After spending 2 weeks in an RV, and only eating in restaurants a handful of times, it was a pleasure to eat at 112. The steak and gorgonzola was lovely, and the creme brulee divine... a good sign of a good restaurant. Service great also, not rushed which was very welcome. A relaxing evening in a smart restaurant/bar setting. Ps. My husband enjoyed his hazy IPAs.
Food was good, service was okay. However, I was frustrated when I had over an 1:45 to get my food. I understand emergencies happen but usually a manager would come out and apologize or offer something. However our server was the one apologizing to us. Our bill was $194 and we received $14 off. Kinda disappointing.
