We were 4 friends to celebrate a wedding anniversary and the service was perfect, coordinated to the sound of the silver bells that unveiled each dish, orchestrated by four servers, without false notes. First, the location is unforgettable. What a eyesight when arriving at the sunset, with the golden rocks of the castle shining brightly. The garden of the castle is an ideal location to get some pictures before dinner and enjoy the calm. The castle is dominating the surrounding vineyards. The personnel is young, nice and very attentive to your needs. A sommelier is going to suggest the ideal match for each dish. Most guests are from abroad, so it will be easy to have a conversation about anything while enjoying your meal. Beautiful setting, Originally coming to motorbike from Lyon to enjoy the calm of the Castle, I stayed there for dinner. The attention and dialogues emanating from young Chef Antonin Buron were remarkable before and after the service. It is a leader who is inhabited by his profession knowing how to humblely value him at every moment with the center customer satisfaction. In fact, a beautiful culinary discovery carried by a service that is thoughtful and coming. Among other things, I think of Inès and Raphaël with whom I was able to exchange during this meal and that I thank.
Even though it had badly started with a little bit of aperitif waiting, everything went well at dinner. Special dishes served with true kindness. Everything comes to the one who knows how to wait. In return we had a big class service with some small royal intentions offered graciously by the house. We had come to celebrate the end of our children's studies and we come out of this experience with lots of stars in the eyes and especially compelling memories. The restaurant is in a spectacular setting, with the the largest fireplace mantel in Europe. The food is also excellently prepared and presented. Unfortunately, they were woefully understaffed the two nights we ate there. Staff tried hard and was friendly, but most inexperienced and a bit overwhelmed. Also, chef needs to change the menu more frequently and offer a few more choices especially for guests like us who will eat there a number of times during their visit.
A real pleasure and happiness of taste buds. The restaurant room is majestic with its beams and its immense fireplace. The service is discreet and neat. The dishes well presented and delicious, for a taste discovery. The star chef came to greet us at the end of the meal. A table and a frame the car castle to discover.
