The staff at this restaurant were amazing, from the lady to the two gentlemen who served us. They went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic time. The drinks and food were both outstanding and priced reasonably. The bartender even created a delicious rum cocktail for me. The service was exceptional, with the lady being especially attentive. Overall, I would give the service a flawless 10/10. Thank you to the staff for providing us with a delightful dining experience!
The staff at this restaurant were amazing. The lady and the two men who served us were incredible and went above and beyond for us. The drinks and food were excellent and the value for money was outstanding. The Irish bartender even created a delicious rum cocktail for me. The lady who served us was very attentive. We've made this a regular stop off in the city now. We just dropped by on what happened to be Valentine's day and asked if they could fit us in for one of their 6 course valentine's day meals along with paired wine. We love the cocktails at 1842 is one of the best places in Preston for a Cocktail. The staff were attentive, the food fantastic and the wine perfectly matched.
I am really disappointed that the restaurant did not have the full menu available, as I was looking forward to trying a variety of dishes. However, the steak I ordered was cooked perfectly. I wish there were more than just three half potatoes as a side, but I understand. Overall, I believe that giving the restaurant 3 stars is fair considering the limited menu options. Had the most gorgeous Birthday lunch here for a friend. Staff attention was faultless thanks to Charlie, he helped the whole party go with a zing. The food akin to tapas in that small dish layout was beautifully prepared, presented with flair and everyone rated their choices as 10/10 we all had different combos too! . Attention to detail first class. Highly recommend!
Super family run establishment in an excellent location serving sudo European food, all well prepared, presented cared for. Beers are great, not too pricey the staff are hardworking, attentive professional. I had the Charcuteri board followed be a Steak both were super, at a fair reasonable price. Highly Recommend
