Placed my first ever order with this local takeaway for a curry night with family and friends and on a Monday, too! We were all impressed not least our little 2 year old visitor who demolished two dishes of paneer cheese dhasnak with great relish. I opted to collect the order and received a call 10 minutes before it was ready. All the curry dishes were waiting for me; I just had to wait 5 minutes whilst the busy chef plunged the breads in the fryer and counted out the poppadoms which were worth waiting for. All in all a lovely meal.
One of the best Indian meals we have enjoyed in a long time, we were staying in Tha Claremont hotel down the road and saw this little place down the road. Although it was a takeaway, we were given the best table service as we did not want to eat it in the hotel room. A place was set and plates provided, and we were given very friendly and attentive service even though he was busy getting orders ready and best of all the food was cooked fresh and was amazing, great selection on menu too
Absolutely brilliant food. The curry sauces of karai sauce and Bangla garlic sauce are layered with flavour and texture that keep you going in for more. Rice and Nan bread fresh n tasty. Fries are the best take away fries anywhere, crunchy and fresh.. Fresh popadoms. Keep doing what your doing tiger belly your food is fantastic Ps. Be prepared to wait for your delivery as it’s usually 90 mins but it’s worth it and your food is cooked fresh
Fresh and tasty. You can tell a good Indian by the quality of the their popadoms. These were fresh and tasty. Ordered the lamb chops, chicken tikka with plain curry sauce. Chips. Garlic Nan. Rice. Pops. All super delicious. Although got a call from the restaurant saying no lamb chops so I left it to the chef to make me a starter for me. A mixed starter selection arrived all excellent. Delivery arrived on time. Will be returning soon

Unfortunately the food was very late as they said last time we ordered when it was 2 hours late they had a problem with drivers . Not a massala as ordered. Chicken in small bits chips dry and old . Definitely gone down in quality and the service. Won't be having again regular occurrence now that's its always late and just not value for price anymore . Shame
I think they ran out of spices and seasoning over the Eadter hols... A vindaloo that was as spicy as a a packet of super noodles, bland naan lacking in anything resembling keema.... and as for the tarka daal well I've tasted more flavour some boiled lentils I wont be returning
Ordered lots of starters all the food was delicious and well priced was told the time the order would be ready turned up to collect and was all ready and piping hot would recommend
Ordered mushroom biryani and lamb biryani both with the honey and garlic sauce which is amazing. I had the chilli naan which was delicious. Great food and service as always. .
