many people grieve the closure of 1884 kitchen dock, but this sadness should now be a firm with the opening of STEAK/1884 in the humber street. my wife and I had the 10oz 32-day grass feed hereford bark sirloin, medium size, with a side order of triple-cooked beef drying chips and it was exquisite. beautifully presented, cooked to perfection and just what a steak lover would dream. for the desert served a selection of cheese with celery, rob, crackers and a fantastic tomato bowl to die. superb. with excellent service and an intimate ambiente with 30s art deco feel, STEAK/1884 is an exceptional restaurant and a fine addition to the humber street.

We really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant, where we opted for the Valentine's Day couples menu. The food was excellent and the staff were attentive without being overly intrusive. The pace of the meal was just right, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and we will definitely be returning in the future.

this place is intimate and relaxing. large steaks on the menu and special board. from the board I had a 49-day sirloin steak £30, medium rare. it was perfect for me. the sides are a price. also for desert cream broth with birne and shortcake was the best I ever tried. personal, elizabeth and co were very attentive. shall I go back? Yes.

the meat quality was much higher than they usually get a specialized in meat in the restaurant. the steak that I had was exactly prepared as good meat should be treated. cooked for perfection. the restaurant was above my expectations friendly staff good service and very high quality food.
