1888 Hotel Eatery & Bar

Great GF & organic choices, nothing was a problem for breakfast. We got this with our room and it was very nice. I had perfectly poached eggs of GF bread with avo, really lovely food and environment. Staff also just so so friendly and helpful. We look forward to our next trip to Sydney as we will definitely stay and eat here again. Awesome location also.

We ate two breakfasts there - had the brekky burger one time which was quite tasty - one egg, some bacon, cheese, tomato and rocket lettuce. Another time we had appetizers - the pork meatballs and the calamari. The calamari was overcooked. The meatballs were very tasty. There might be some inconsistencies in the food - but it was still good.

We ordered two meals. The tuna was nice but the noodles were awful. The chef needs to taste what he is presenting. We also ordered the pork cutlets that were so dry we couldn't eat them. However, the manager gave us a 50% discount on our bill which we accepted. The place has nice atmosphere so worth going for a drink.

The warm and friendly greeting as we arrived for breakfast (only 20 minutes before closing time - 10am) was a precursor for an extremely enjoyable start to our day. The coffee was rich and strong, free selection was plentiful but the a-la-carte breakfast was also excellent. You will not be disappointed! Reserva una mesa ahora

Had a few breakfasts here last week and some happy hour finger foods. It is an adjunct to the hotel reception and works well with the Ovolo approach to all things relevant to a comfortable stay in the hotel. Much appreciated personal service.

We made a great decision. As our recommended restaurant had failed to impress, we ate here. Nice selection of wines. Excellent service from Michael and top burger! Pleased to have found all this on the ground floor of our hotel.

We had buffet, 2 days in a row, and thoroughly enjoyed the choices, therefore not feeling the need to have a la carte. There even are boiled eggs included if you need your daily egg fix.

I had both breakfast and room service from the Hotel Eatery and Bar. The food was incredible and super hot and fresh. Amazing!
