This is AMAZING! To move from Philly and live in NY for most of my life, it was very hard to find good pizza and subs.... not try to play down MD at all, but it is so hard to find good pizza, and a good cheese steak here! Your NY Pizza is so good.. BUT OMG... That GRADMA PIZZA is so RIDICULOUS... I cannot EVEN PUT WORDS AROUND IT. DANK GOD for places like this, which not only advertise NY Pizza, but they do ACTUALLY... yes, everyone has their own version and opinion, but we are satisfied / satisfied. And my husband has a sausage and pepper sandwich, and he can't stop talking about how good it was. The owner (i.e. he is the owner due to our convo) was such a pleasant person... He even gave us free garlic knots on the way out to try how it was our first time there! And said he was in NJ for over 30 years. Who knows big pizza already knows what that means.... NY, NJ,PA... SAY NO MORE... GREAT JOB!
We decided last minute for a quick lunch and I'm so glad we did it. The guy who makes pizza seemed to know everyone who was in there. The first thing we saw was a huge calzone pulled out of the oven and it looked amazing. We ordered a Popeye Pizza, Bruschetta and Ranch Pommes and they were delicious and the portions were much more than expected. We will definitely return!
This place is amazing. Big pizza subs are amazing and the spaghetti with meatballs is perfect. The owner is a great guy and he has also selected great employees. Everybody's super friendly. I originally went because someone said they had some of the best cheeses in md. So I went and got hooked since then.
