First impressions are everything, including syrup with pancakes! I had to rush after Franks' catering at Kroger to check out the buzz with my pick-up order. I ordered the chicken fried steak (decent, tasted like the cafeteria type, definitely not up to Kelley's quality) with potatoes (very good), macaroni and cheese (top 5 taste), and a side of okra (very good). The pancakes were delicious after being drenched in syrup, and Mrs. Buttersworth was clearly approved. The biscuits were above average and the gravy was well seasoned. I had not dined at this restaurant in a long time. The breakfast plate I ordered was absolutely delicious. The eggs were fluffy and the hash browns were cooked perfectly. My meal was prepared exactly as I requested. The restaurant was not crowded, making for a nice and quiet dining experience. The waitstaff was exceptional, with the waitresses and cashier being very friendly. The dining room was impeccably clean. Overall, it was a pleasant place to enjoy breakfast.

This restaurant is truly one of the best experiences I have ever had. The food and service were fantastic, and my glass was always full. The staff were very friendly and the portions were generous, with pancakes the size of the plate. I was so impressed with my pancakes that I forgot to take a picture of them - you'll have to see them for yourself when you visit. They are open for both breakfast and lunch.

I loooove Frank's Grill. Every time I go, the breakfast is always delicious. The food is really tasty, and I actually like the coffee. It doesn't taste watered down like some places. I was pleasantly surprised by the quick service at this busy restaurant - my coffee never went empty. The food was delicious and I was impressed by the generous portions. It's clear that this place has a loyal following of regular customers. I can see why it's a nominee for the Best in Texas award.
