We discovered 21 North Eatery on Yelp while visiting town for a high school football game. We enjoy finding hidden gems that are locally owned, and this restaurant definitely fits the bill! From the drinks, starters, and entrees, everything was exceptional and deserving of 5 stars. The bartender was attentive and made excellent drink recommendations. Our food was fabulous(potstickers, chicken salad, and wagyu burger were spot on) but the experience was detracted from by our poor service. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed and irritated when the restaurant wasn't even half full and was shared by another waitress who seemed delightful. Ours ignored us for the first 15 minutes and then was put off that we wanted an appetizer first instead of ordering our food and drinks all at once. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt, but then we watched her yell at the bartender in the middle of the dining area and then another one of her tables walked out after waiting 20min without even seeing her. We made a quick stop on our way to Michigan around 2:30pm. The restaurant was not very crowded and we were served promptly. We ordered a burger and fish and chips, both of which were delicious, hot, and well-seasoned. Finding parking was easy and the customer service was good. Overall, we would rate the meal as a 5 out of 5 for both the food and service. The atmosphere also received a 5 out of 5 rating. We highly recommend trying the Beer Battered Fish Chips and the Sakura Farms Wagyu Burger. The price per person ranged from $30 to $50.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food was amazing, the atmosphere is stunning with its exposed stone and dark wood decor. The service was the best we've had in a long time - my drink was always refilled promptly. I highly recommend trying the truffle brownie for dessert, it was the perfect ending to our meal. We had a fantastic first experience at 21North. The staff treated us like royalty as we celebrated two birthdays, and the food was delicious, made with fresh ingredients. The chef was accommodating to dietary restrictions, and the service was excellent. We had dinner and the price per person was between $50-100. We highly recommend trying the House Salad and their Special dish.

My #1 go to place when in town. Great bar, great food specials killer parm truffle fries. The restaurant was very clean and the music, a mix of 80s rock and other genres, was not too loud but still upbeat. The servers were friendly and attentive. Having dined at many restaurants in the Midwest, I can say that this place offers great value for the quality of food. I would definitely give it a 5 out of 5 and will be visiting again and recommending it to others.
