I always try to swing by this place if I'm close to downtown Monrovia. I like it because it's a bit off the beaten path and it has plenty of space, plenty of positive service and most importantly plenty of beer. I started off trying the broken skull lager which was great and also tried the tartini sour at the recommendation of the Beerista. I love sours and the tartini was delish. I ended up having that and two Bahn Mi tacos with extra jalapenos. ️ I liked the beer so much that I ordered a second. I figured I ate two tacos I might as well make it even and have two beers. The staff was nice and the mood is cold. The food LOOKS amazing and the portions are huge, but that's it. All we ordered was Bland and mostly tasteless. My Cuban sandwich was dry and not pleasant. I spent a few years in South Florida, so my expectations are pretty high anyway. The Mac w/ brisket was blazing. The fish tacos were tasteless even after adding lime. The fried chicken sandwich had taste, but nothing unforgettable. The frits were quite delicious, similar to In-N-Out frits. The beer was great and much to choose. All in all, I'd probably never go back if I'm not invited to meet with friends. Otherwise, I hope it was just a refugee one night for her sake.
Happened to be in the area for the Formula Drift competition at Speedway, and ended up here for some beer flights and yummy dinner. I had a 2 meat combo pastrami and brisket with fries and zucchini. ALL of it taste absolutely delicious. The meat literally melted in my mouth. Cooked to perfection. I live really far from the place, but I can see myself planning my dinner there if I am anywhere within a 15 mile radius or so. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50
They took away many of the outside seats they had during the pandemic. I asked to sit outside for a party of 12. They said they only take 15 reservations, but when I came at 3:00, there should be no problem. We came around 5. There were many seats, but the waiter said there was no way to fit more than 6 people out, because all tables were small... What the... We decided to go to Myrtle to Sena, on the road that was clear over the seats, and we were not lied.

This place is a hidden underrated gem. Brunch, lunch and dinner...you will be well taken care of and fed to your capacity. Stopped at this spot for lunch. The curbside vibe seemed cool, with outdoor seating. I got the Backyard burger and fries and it was delicious! My husband got the soup of the day and tacos. Lots of beers to choose from, good service, great food. I woulddefinitely go back.
Delicious food. Love the meatloaf dinner, taco Tuesdays, Caesar and Cobb salads. Chipotle wings, yellowtail poke, pizzas. Great beer tap selection, mixed drinks are excellent, and a fun atmosphere.
Nice bar/restaurant in beautiful Monrovia. Tried the tacos on Crazy Tuesday and regular dishes on other day. Tasty food, good service, price OK. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
