We went to the 5 Elements restaurant for my birthday. The food was excellent and the service responsible for us really tried very hard. Unfortunately, I have to deduct three stars because of the following points: 1. When ordering a table, we explicitly asked for gluten free dishes and were promised full bodiedly that this was not a problem at all and that almost every dish could be made gluten free. The restaurant does this all the time for guests. The reality, however, was the complete opposite. There were no allergens listed on the menu. I evaluate the breakfast included in the TRIHOTEL room and the 3 course menu. Breakfast was good, leaves little wishes open, but the Corona concept I don't quite understand. We have the fork and spoon when registering to fill the food from the buffet with our own cutlery, but in many cases there were already cutlery (bread pliers, spoons with honey, scrambled eggs, etc.) so that our own cutlery has lost a little sense. That I found little consistent. The 3 courses menu was great, like a very friendly waiter who explains the court again at enrichment. Essen ist super, aber der Service leider 0 Sterne. Der Blonde, großer Herr, der uns bedient hat, war sehr nervös und leider unprofessionell. Für dir Getränke hat er 20 Minuten gebraucht (obwohl es ausder uns 2 Tische da waren) Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und ansprechend. Es tut mir leid, dass der Service so eine Schwachstelle ist, denn vom Konzept her, ist es ganz gut! Der Koch scheint mit dem Essen besser umzugehen, als der Kellter mit den Gästen.
Cesar Salat was an interpretation. Extreme cherry and overloaded bacon that has nothing to look for. Minimal and much too small and little cheese. Too mad. Serve too little and ordered chicken strips. Only two pieces on the plate. Pommes of daughter to burger lazy and oily. Extremely disappointing, although the ambience is excellent. Prices much too covered, for quality.

Really a restaurant which has benefited more than abundantly from the redesign, also the service and food around classes is better. For Rostock a culinary addition and hopefully also a fixed part of the Rostocker Feinschmecker scene. We will certainly look forward to another evening and would like to thank the entire team of 5 elements for this really nice evening.
I cannot understand the bad reviews. the service was 1a: courteous, attentive, courtesy, patient. the food has tasted very well and the portion size was very lush. we felt very comfortable and come back in any case!
The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The ambience invites you to feel good. We are thrilled and will definitely come back.
Wir hatten das 6-Gänge Menü bestellt und bekamen neben einem absolut fantastischen Essen auch einen schönen 3-stündigen Abend mit einer umsichtigen und fürsorglichen Bedienung!
