My experience with Trailhead was both unusual and rewarding. I live out of state, but my sister, who has a mental disability, lives in the Twin Cities area. Her 3-wheel bike is a valued possession and because of flat tires was not able to use it for a long time. Staff at her group home did not have a vehicle to transport the bike to a repair shop. I found Trailhead on the internet and called to see if they made service calls. They don't usually, but when I explained the situation was told they would go to my sister's residence and determine what needed to be done. My family has been going to Trailhead ever since we moved to the area in '16. They have been absolutely wonderful to work with on buying, trading in and service on the bikes when I can 't do it myself. They do a nice job of asking what you want and need before making recommendations on what to buy. They usually have multiple options to pick from. I 've looked for a few items that they did not have in store but they helped find them either at there other location or ordered it one off and delivered to the store. They also have a bike group that rides out of the store and has options for all skill levels.
I purchased two brand new 2021 model bikes for nearly $1000 just four months ago. My kids have ridden them only twice. The bikes are in perfect condition with no scratches, dents, or any damage. The staff member at the store mentioned that the bikes are in excellent shape. I wanted to trade them in and was offered just $450 for both. Seriously? That's more than a 50% loss! I decided against the trade-in and will never consider buying bikes from there again. Customer focus? Absolutely not!
THIS SHOP RULES! I stopped in on a whim and ended up buying some stuff for my bike. They offered to install my new purchases so I brought my bike in. We discovered my derailer was damaged during travel and they dropped everything they were doing to repair it right away so I could go on my planned ride. This is the place to buy and have your bike serviced. Great service and they have a great selection of accessories. So nice to have a place that carries a good selection of bikes and accessories including high end stuff. Also they do a great job of talking care of adjustments and quick services (Like swapping out tires) without an appointment.
The guys are super nice very helpful and they know how to make sure to fit your size for your bike I purchased my bike after 16 rides and I am very most pleased with my purchase it's a very fun bike thank you Trailhead for the wonderful experience I will do more business with you in the future love you guys
I bought my bike at champlin trailhead. A very pleasant experience. Last week it was stolen. Recovered by police. But had some issues. Took it in and they fixed it right there for free. Thank you so much! You have a customer for life!
They assisted me in choosing the cleaner and oil for my sprocket and chain, advising me on what I really needed and what I could probably skip. It seems they have a solid selection of various types of bikes.

Got a flat tire on a beautiful day and I brought my bike in and they got fixed up in less than 10 min and were extremely friendly! Amazing service and I will definitely be back.
Update: Once I brought this issue to their attention, I received excellent service and prompt replies. I'm confident that this will be resolved to my satisfaction.
