From the moment we walked in at 7:30 we were getting dirty looks from the staff. When asked how many, (7 and the place was not packed) we were told they close at 8. So they sat us. We quickly stated placing our orders. Server did not write anything down. He was huffing and puffing like we close at 8. We were there to celebrate our nephews birthday. Instead of dealing with the attitudes and hostile environment we left. We told them don’t even bother putting in our order! The piece of salmon I received was disappointingly small for an entrée, served with a generous portion of plain rice. I asked for cauliflower but was given broccoli instead. The salmon lacked flavor and didn't come with lemon, which would have been a welcome addition. Overall, the meal felt bland and reminiscent of hospital food. I had the pleasure of dining at 56 Kitchen during lunch, and my experience was made even more enjoyable thanks to our server, Arin. She was incredibly nice, helpful, and had a wonderful energy about her. Arin assisted me in choosing my meal, and her recommendations were spot on. The kindness and sweetness she exhibited throughout our meal truly enhanced the dining experience. What also stood out was the cool and inviting environment at 56 Kitchen. The ambiance was just perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional, thanks to Arin's outstanding service. A few weeks ago, I visited one of the first restaurants in Solon. The atmosphere was pleasant, although there were only about six other guests there. I opted to sit at the bar, and my service was reasonably prompt. The bartender recommended a blueberry vodka drink, but it was nothing special. For an appetizer, I chose the calamari, which turned out to be mostly crumbs! I ordered the shrimp and grits without peppers, and it was just average—definitely not worth the price. When I tried to settle my bill, it took a while because the bartender was too busy chatting with her coworker about office gossip. I had a delightful lunch at 56 Kitchen, and my experience was elevated by our server, Arin. She was exceptionally kind, attentive, and radiated positive energy. Arin helped me select my meal, and her recommendations were perfect. Her warmth and friendliness truly enhanced our dining experience. The atmosphere at 56 Kitchen was also noteworthy; it was cool and inviting, ideal for a laid-back meal. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding, all thanks to Arin's excellent care. The food is excellent, but the service leaves much to be desired. If you're ordering for pickup, make sure you allow an extra 15-20 minutes—assuming someone even acknowledges your presence at the front. If you ask for assistance, you might encounter some attitude from the staff. The carryout process is quite poor. I placed my order at 7:00 PM with a designated pickup time of 30 minutes, but I've now been waiting an additional 25 minutes. Hummus doesn't take long to prepare! Meal type: Other.

my culinary experience at 56 kitchen was cool! I threw everything with a delicious mosque maultier at the bar. for dinner, I designed “My own dish” made of buttermilk roast chicken breast, roasted carrots, roasted cauliflower cabbage with lemon tahini and a French kiss salad
