5th Tavern Bloomfield

Even though I made reservations through open table, we weren't on the list. They sat us in the bar area. Server was super busy and after food came we waited forever.... He forgot drink refills, and once he brought the check (eventually) we had to go flag him down to pay because he never came back. Food was mediocre. Steak was overdone, burger was underwhelming. The place was packed for a Monday night. As packed as it was I thought it would be better than it ended up being. It was also very loud and hard to have a conversation. We were just passing through the area and picked this place because the menu looked good, we won't be coming back. Disappointed.

We had a reservation for 2. We were seated right away, however, it took a while for our waitress to finally come over. We order drinks, she asked me twice for my drink and didn't understand. She brought my husband's drink with no explanation for my drink, then a few minutes later another server came to ask what I ordered, then she finally brought my drink. Food was warm, I assume it was waiting to be picked up and brought out to table.

The one and only thing this place has going for themselves is. It's a really nice place in Nice area. That's it. The food is absolutely horrible. It's edible, but barely. And it's way overpriced. When you walk again, you think oh wow, this place is beautiful. The food is going to be sooo good. . . Well think again

A bustling establishment with very good food.It is busy, so expect you may have a wait, and they may need more waitstaff (which I know is hard to find) but they all try to take care of you and the food is worth it.Find an off-peak time if you want a more relaxed or quiet meal. We went on a Thursday expecting not to find the bar area full of customers. They were actually very busy but service was still great and we were able to get our favorite table. The food was excellent and also the drinks. Our favorite dish is the chicken satay. So good!

It was busy since we went on Father's Day but that didn't stop our waiter from providing excellent service! The food was good and the staff was friendly. Everything was great!

My first visit was today. We had a bridal shower brunch. The food was great, and we had excellent service. It was busy, but I understand why. I would definitely go back again.

This place had all African American people on. One side of the the restaurant for brunch. I left this restaurant with in 10 mins of being here.

The calamari was like rubber. The worst! The bartender let me reorder and I got chicken wings, which was a much better choice.
