My family and I tried this restaurant for our 27th Wedding Anniversary. When we got there, we were impressed with the place. It had very nice, classy, yet casual and cozy atmosphere. We were promptly seated by the receptionist. At our table, we saw their anniversary setup for us. They gave us two complimentary glasses of champagne. It set the mood of the night right away. Our server, Bobby, was very attentive and gave great suggestions for food and drinks. The dishes we ordered were spot on! Every one of them was delicious and satisfying. I ordered the Red Wine Braised Short Ribs. They were very tender and very tasty. My wife had the Cacio E Pepe pasta with Chicken. That was very satisfying....
I recently had my wedding at 618 and held both the ceremony and reception in the oak room. With a small wedding of 50 people, it was the perfect venue for us. The staff was exceptional from the beginning, promptly addressing any questions and taking care of us very well. Our wedding was made amazing by the attentive and kind waitstaff and bartenders. Despite the intimate size, it felt like a larger wedding with all the perks. We were able to have a DJ and ample space for a dance floor. This restaurant is by far one of the best in New Jersey. We were there for dinner and drinks this past weekend, and it was perfect. The transformation from the beginning days 7 years ago is incredible. We have been patrons since the beginning and it has only gotten better and better. The food is always consistently delicious. The service is top notch. The owner Matt has put his blood sweat and tears into ensuring a fine dining experience. He is always present. The addition of the new center bar is awesome. The hostess Louise is one of the nicest people I have ever met and always ensures everyone at the table is enjoying the meal and experience.
The service at this restaurant is consistently excellent and the food is absolutely delicious. The drinks are expertly prepared and presented, and the restaurant itself is stunning. I recently attended a wedding here and the filet was incredibly tender. The three female servers and John the bartender were all exceptional. This is a great place. Food is great. Service is great. The bar gets crowded but that's also a good sign that drinks are also good... I definitely have to mention Michelle who not only provides great service but also makes excellent drinks...loved our Smoked Old Fashioned and Lychee Martinis.
