My husband and I each got the mixed grill. We got lamb and steak. It comes with 3 skewers, soup or salad, and your 2 chosen sides. He ate 2 of his skewers, but I was only able to eat one. We will probably share it next time. Great proportions! We love the lentil soup. The rice is plain basmati rice. I just wish there was a little added flavor to the rice because the meat tastes so clean it's like you need a little something extra. One downside is that prices can vary, sometimes feeling a bit high. However, considering the unique offerings, you really can’t find this kind of food anywhere else in the state. I genuinely believe that this is the best Middle Eastern store in all of Alabama! I also have to mention the service – it's consistently excellent! The staff is always friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. I appreciate that both English and Arabic are spoken in the store, making it accessible for those who may not speak Arabic, unlike some other Middle Eastern markets I've visited in different states. We moved to this area a year ago and we have been looking for great restaurants we found one here. We love the Lebanese selections and the spices. Finally, food that isn’t too bland or heavily fried!
