Spot of Tea - Reserva de mesa

We left after 30 minutes. Arrived 5 minutes before our reservation and host asked us to seat ourselves outside which was our first choice since we wanted our dog to sit beside us. Our waiter never came. There were empty tables outside but other occupied tables were being served. The waitstaff saw us and made eye contact with my husband several times. We left and went to the Red Slipper. We were seated right away and the service/food there was outstanding. It is a holiday so perhaps Spot of Tea was really short-staffed??

It was quiet and not at all crowded for our early lunch visit. SOT offers a large menu selection. Our party had omelets and sandwiches. The food was good but unremarkable and arrived quickly, although someone's hashbrowns (small cubed potatoes) were cold. Service was good. We like the funky downtown Mobile vibe and that is part of the attraction. We will return.

The food was really good! The banana fosters French toast was a hit! Mimosas was good, service was top notch. My only complaint is that the food came out like warm. Everything order came out a different temperature. Other than that, everything was great!

We came in for a girls brunch for my nieces going off to college party and had the best waiter! The food and service was all around fantastic! We were really loud so I hope we didn’t bother others but we had a blast Reserva una mesa ahora

It was a bit warm in there at first, but got more comfortable when we asked if they could turn the AC down. I got The Cathedral, but would not order it again. Our waitress was very pleasant and helpful.

2 Belgium waffles, coffee and tea was $40. One server dropped a spoon then put it back into the “clean” spoon container. Another server complained about her life and work environment.

Our server, Teri, was spectacular. A super smile with a matching attitude. We sat outside as just inside the door was very smelly, not a good smell. The food was okay but pricey.

Made reservation and upon arrival found note on door CLOSED Due to plumbing issue Had monthly Luncheon at Dauphins instead, definitely will be dining at Dauphins again. Reserva una mesa ahora

It was extremely too hot in there. I was sweating the whole time and it was hard to enjoy the food. The food was great but the air was the only issue.

The service was good and our waitress remained patient with everyone despite her being the only server.
