It has been almost 1 month since my visit to this restaurant, and I'm still upset. This was one of the last places my husband and I were ever able to visit together, due to his ALS diagnosis, and his recent passing. It was a very special restaurant and I had great memories of it. However, when I took my great friend there over the June 3 and 4th weekend, to show her our old special place and to remember him, we were treated poorly by the inside male seating host and I believe we were discriminated against. As regular visitors to Bethany Beach, we decided to give this restaurant another chance after having an unsatisfactory experience two years ago, where I felt it was overpriced, underwhelming, and pretentious. My husband suggested we pop in and take another look at the menu, so we didn’t plan on dining there that night, just wanted to check it out. I was dressed casually in leggings, a t-shirt, and a jacket—not looking homeless or disheveled. However, that’s how I felt I was treated. When I requested a menu, I was snobbishly told, “We don’t have carry-out menus," which made it seem like if you don’t fit a certain appearance, you’re not worthy of a menu. Overall impression in brief: A rip-off. I must admit, the food tasted good, but honestly, how can you justify charging so much for a portion suitable for a 10-year-old? I ordered a jumbo crab cake sandwich, and it arrived with the tiniest roll imaginable and a disappointingly small amount of crab. Seriously? $30 for that? The calamari appetizer was a complete letdown. On a positive note, the service was very good—no complaints there. There was a girl trying to sing, but it was too noisy to hear her. So it’s really up to you whether to go or not.

Awesome dinner last night! Highly recommend! The crab soup was the very best I’ve had at any restaurant. Perfectly seasoned with a ton of lump crab meat. Please tell the chef to put this on the menu permanently! The Tuna was also perfectly seasoned and properly cooked. Literally every bite of food was spectacular. Our server was fantastic! Very friendly, made excellent recommendations and her timing for everything was perfect. Wish I could give a 10 star review. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful evening! Outdoor patio overlooking the ocean and beach on the Bethany Beach boardwalk. Nice seafood options, the scallops were delicious served on a bed of cauliflower puree. My friends had the salmon,and Mahi Mahi. Appetizer mussels were excellent and the cheese board was nice to share.

I had the corn and shrimp bisque with a Caesar salad. Each could have been a meal on their own but I happily ate them both. Parking is a pain of course but sitting on patio even at 1pm in August was very nice. Would recommend.

Nice place for a light lunch. The mussels and calamari app was wonderful. Note to the chef, serve it with a nice crusty baguette for that wonderful tomato sauce.

We visited this restaurant three times in one week! Arriving early is ideal for excellent seating. The service is exceptional, and the menu is fantastic!
