I specifically ordered my meat to be well-done , which the waiter confirmed to me again when he came to the table with my plate. Let me put it this way: If this bright red, blood-dripping piece is considered well done by local standards, you can 't help but wonder what you would get if you dared to order English . Does it still twitch? Or is the rest of the animal still hanging on and mooing? The meat was also not of good quality; it was extremely stringy and gristly. The vegetable side dish was very sparse and thrown together completely haphazardly, as if leftovers from the previous day had been used here. The French fries were good, but here too the quantity wasn 't exactly guilty of excessive generosity. Overall, for the price, it was not only too bad for me, but also clearly not enough. The Riesling tasted like absolutely nothing, which I have never experienced in this region. Based on my experience today, I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant. Only the not unpleasant ambience and the friendly, quick, but fortunately not intrusive staff save the restaurant a second star in my rating. However, I probably won 't be coming back until further notice.
